Customization (video)

Open Customization on a video project and a popup gives you six slots to upload. Each wraps something around the finished clip.

The six slots

1. Upload slots (×6)

• PNG overlay — a static frame, drawn over the video.
• MOV overlay — an animated frame (a .mov clip laid over the video).
• VFX overlay — a smarter overlay. Unlike the PNG and MOV overlays, it syncs with the cut, the speed, and the effects applied to the clip, so it moves with them rather than sitting flat on top.
• Intro — a video played before the main video.
• Outro — a video played after the main video.
• Music — an audio file that plays during the video. The cut is made to fit the music, so the edit follows the track.

Note

The PNG and MOV overlays are simply laid on top of the final cut clip (with its effects already applied) — they aren’t processed any further. The VFX overlay is the one that reacts to the cut, speed, and effects.

Tip

These three overlays don’t appear in the editor preview — it’s optimized for judging the cut. You’ll see them in the final render.
