Installation & Licensing
This section gets MixUp installed and licensed on a booth PC.
What you need
Section titled “What you need”- A Windows PC for the booth.
- A camera (see Cameras).
- Internet for license activation, updates, and cloud/AI features.
- A license key, or run in Trial or Demo mode to start (see Licensing).
Two steps
Section titled “Two steps”- Install & first launch — run the Setup installer, start MixUp, and let it set up (including optional import of old data).
- Licensing — enter your license key, or run in Trial (14 days, full) or Demo mode to evaluate.
What the app checks at startup
Section titled “What the app checks at startup”On launch MixUp verifies its environment before it can run a session:
- data folder is writable,
- shaders compile,
- camera can start,
- license is valid,
- a current event and project exist,
- printer list (for on-site printing),
- network/cloud services and AI token.
